Kin’sha are the only band in the world to have truly successfully fused traditional Irish and Celtic music with urban beats and sounds to create a new style- a ‘Hybrid’ breed of trad/ urban music that is eminently listenable and completely original in approach and effect.

Although Kin’sha can regularly play with up to ten performers on stage (including two superb Rappers, a funky scratch mix king called DJ Boru, an Uillean Piper, a Percussionist and a Jaws Harpist), they are based a round a core group of four highly accomplished musicians, whose superb playing and programming skills have allowed them to define an exceptional new sound within Irish and Celtic traditional music.
